Sudanese Delegation Meets Secretary General of ICS
Sheikh Muhammad in his meeting with Askroladi stressed that unity and discord among the Iranian parties is greater than those of Sudan, adding the role of the ICS is prominent in this regard.
Unity among the Islamic parties in Iran has its impacts on other parties in the Islamic countries, he said.
Touching the Palestinian issue, Sheikh Muhammad said that the roadmap is not an appropriate plan for restoration of peace to the Middle East and is doomed to fail.
Head of the Political Office of the Islamic Coalition Society, Asadullah Badamchian and his deputy Reza Taraqi also attended the meeting.
Sudanese First Vice President Ali Othman Muhammad Taha and his accompanying delegation arrived here Wednesday on an official visit.
Muhammad Taha paid homage to Imam Khomeini Friday.
Accompanied by a number of Iranian officials he laid a wreath on the Imam’s grave, commemorating the memory of the founder of Islamic Republic.
Muhammad Taha met President Mohammad Khatami and Vice President Mohamad Reza Aref.
He discussed political and economic issues with the Iranian officials.
